Mary Lynn Rajskub is an American actor, writer, comedienne, musician and singer.
In 1995, Mary Lynn Rajskub’s made her first TV appearance as one of the original cast members of "Mr. Show with Bob and David". In 1999, she was cast as Chloe on the TV series “Veronica’s Closet”. Then in 2003, at the start of the show’s third season, she was cast as Chloe O’Brian in the TV series “24”.
After watching Mary Lynn Rajskub’s performance in the film “Punch Drunk Love”, Joel Surnow, producer and co-creator of 24 created the character Chloe O’Brian.
During season four of “24”, Mary Lynn Rajskub’s character Chloe O’Brian was only a recurring character but when the show returned for a fifth season, Mary Lynn Rajskub’s role turned from recurring to a female lead character on the show and as an actor, was given second billing next to Keifer Sutherland.
Mary Lynn Rajskub is also one half of the comic duo, Girls Guitar Club and has performed on “Late Friday TV Show” on NBC. Girls Guitar Club also performs live all over Hollywood.
Movies in which Mary Lynn Rajskub has appeared on include Man on the Moon and Magnolia in 1999. 2002’s Road Trip, “Punch Drunk Love” and in “Sweet Home Alabama”. Other notable movies in which Mary Lynn Rajskub appeared in are Mysterious Skin in 2004 and 2006’s Firewall and Little Miss Sunshine.
In 2006, Mary Lynn Rajskub was presented the Female Breakthrough Award. The Award was presented by Harrison Ford. She has also been nominated by the Screen Actors Guild twice for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, first on 2005, again on 2007.
Mary Lynn Rajskub is an active member of the LA art community, she is often seen at art shows, art auctions and museums at times even sharing and exhibiting her own works.
